Case Studies of Parenting Critical Events:
To provide scientific evidence based strategies for parenting, our research team are also conducting case studies of different parenting styles and the effects of different parenting styles on children’s growth and happiness. We do not limit our measures of parenting outcomes to how many and the types of universities the kids get into. We pay great attention to strengthening students’ characters. We believe that people’s ability may get them to the top of their fields, but it takes character to keep them there. Thus, building a healthy personal character is the main theme of our entire parenting research focus. We also give considerable attention to building children’s leadership skills. We believe that leadership is about serving. We position ourselves as servants to others, as each individual relies on services from others to survive on this planet.
To become a leading servant, personal competence, ethics, and vision are the most fundamental elements which contribute to building a successful and valuable life. We have a profound understanding of human nature. We measure to what extent the parents can help their children achieve their potential not only intellectually but also artistically and morally so that they may lead responsible and purpose-driven lives. Therefore, we guide parents not just in helping their children master skills and acquire knowledge but also in thinking critically, creatively, and independently. We are born not for the benefit of ourselves but to be a blessing for the world.
This obligation challenges us in mind, body, and spirit both to see interests beyond ourselves for common growth and to go beyond the familiar, to remain committed to developing what is best in ourselves and in others for both those others and ourselves. In short, we study how different parenting may impact students’ character development, such as their abilities to self-control, to take criticism, to rise above failures, and to adapt into different situations successfully. We also research parents’ beliefs about parenting styles and their impact on children. In addition, how cultural factors and beliefs affect parenting styles will also be taken into consideration. All our case studies are using critical events as the basis for the interviews and observations of parenting styles.
